DC Rajouri ask to expedite the task of writing jamabandi/attestation of mutations


RAJOURI, APRIL 07: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today asked for ensuring prompt, smooth and hassle free service delivery to the common masses here in a meeting of the concerned revenue officers held in the Conference Hall of the PWD Dak Bunglow.

The meeting was attended by ADC Rajouri, Sher Singh; ADC Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Behnal; ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal; ADC Koteranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma; SDM Thanamandi, Zakir Hussain; ACR, Mohd Ashraf; Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars.

The Deputy Commissioner, while speaking at the meeting, directed the revenue officers to ensure the regular monitoring of all the developmental activities being carried out by different departments in the areas of their respective jurisdictions and conduct special tours for two days every week for the monitoring purpose.

The Deputy Commissioner also directed the revenue officers to be proactive towards the public grievances and ensure the speedy disposal of their genuine concerns so they don't face any inconveniences. He further asked them to expedite the task of writing jamabandi, attestation of mutations, writing of Girdawaris etc.

He directed the Revenue Officers to conduct a special anti- encroachment drive to retrieve the Government land under illegal occupation in their areas, besides ensuring the timely disposal of the complaints received through Bhumi Suraksha App.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed the Revenue Officers to motivate the eligible beneficiaries in their areas to construct their houses under PMAY-U and PMAY-G and also make sure that the work on these houses is completed in a time bound manner. He asked the concerned officers to conduct regular market checking to check hoarding, black marketing and overpricing of the essential commodities. He also asked the concerned officers to keep a tab on the cleanliness and sanitation in all the restaurants in their areas of jurisdiction.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to organise a Swachata week to aware the masses about the benefits of cleanliness and healthy environment and also motivate them to polish their houses with white wash to make Rajouri a white, clean and green district.

The Deputy Commissioner also asked them to ensure the speedy disposal of all the genuine claims being received under FRA in their areas. Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunderbani was directed to start widening and beautification of the chowks and proper drainage system in the town.
