Leh, March 6: Deputy Commissioner Leh, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, today conducted day long visit to different ongoing major projects in Leh town and surrounding suburban areas.
He inspected the 24x7 continuous water supply at Ganglas, all-weather public toilet at Zangsti, eco-park near J&K Bank, faecal sludge treatment plant (FSTP) near Bomb Garh, Project Tsangda’s solid waste management centre at Choglamsar, Rurban Amusement Park at Choglamsar, Arhat Community Hall of Wisdom at Spituk, Open Sports Stadium near Spituk and Ladakh Heart Foundation.
He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh; Executive Officer (EO), Municipal Committee Leh (MCL), and Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE and Construction Division.
DC Leh was apprised of achievements and major issues during implementation of these projects.
He directed executing agencies to work in coordination and expedite the construction of pending project works on fast track basis.
