Jammu, Jan 07: Panic gripped acrosss the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday over Bird flu.
More than 100 birds were found dead in Rajouri , Kathua and Udhampur district from Wddnesday evening to Thursday evening.
Administration lifted the samples and burnt birds at far off locations.
Joint teams of Wildlife and Animal Husbandry Departments have been constituted in all the districts and are closely monitoring the situation.
Menawhile, Principal Secretary Animal and Sheep Husbandy department Navin Choudhary has ordered ban on import of Poultry products into J&K.
