Jammu & Kashmir NSUI holds Protest against border firing 

JAMMU,Sep 02:Jammu and Kashmir National Student Union of India (NSUI) held a strong Protest demonstration at Outside Post Office Gandhiagar Jammu against the Pakistan shelling targeting civil population at international border and Loc, causing deaths and injuries to several people and the silence of Prime Minister Mr. Narinder Modi over the issue.

Hundreds of NSUI activists under the leadership of  Mr. Neeraj Kundan assembled at outside Gandinagar Post Office holding  copies of letters  which were written to Prime Minister Mr. Narinder Modi by the  NSUI activists, asking him reason  of keeping mum over the  firing/shelling across the border.  They raised slogans against Central Government  like  “ Man ke baat Nahi Janata Ki dard ki baat suno” They also raised  slogans against Pakistan.

Speaking on the occasion State President NSUI  Mr. Neeraj Kundan said that it  is a matter of great concern that for the last over one year the situation along the Indo-Pak border and Loc  is tense and there is continuous firing and shelling  across the border which has caused many innocent deaths besides injuries to several others. He said that the situation has become grim in view of repeated incidents of shelling across the  border targeting the civilian population, as a result innocent people become the victims of Pak firing.

He said that since the Modi government took over a record number of ceasefire violations and causalities have taken place. He said the suffering of people reflects the failure of the policies of the present government and exposes the hollowness of the claims of Prime Minister Mr.Narinder Modi to contain the activities of Pakistan and improve the over all situation, if voted to power. He said that the people are becoming victim and facing great hardships because of the hollowness of the policies of the Modi government.

Kundan demanded that  an effective strategy should be adopted to put pressure on Pakistan to stop indulging ceasefire violations and targeting the civilian population in the state.

 Prominent among those who  participated includes Sunny Parihar-Dist. President Jammu, Avijot Singh State General Secretary NSUI,. Punnet Singh, Sahil Singh Langeh, (State Coordinator), Nishant, Ranjot, Abhisheikh (State Secretaries), Nitin Bakshi,, Khalid, Ranveer, Rohit, Manthan and others.
