Jammu, November 29: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir will transfer 14 Engineering wings of various departments to the Public Works Department in month of December.
These departments/organizations, which are being transferred to PWD are Tourism, Tourism Development Authorities, School Education, Higher Education, Skill Development, Horticulture, Animal Husbabndry, Fisheries, Floriculture, Hospitality and Protocol, Estates, Disaster Management, Forest, Environment and Ecology, Transport and SKIIMS Soura.
The Estates department is in the above mentioned list, whiuch over the year had remained quite independent.
