Improve revenue realization, carryout inspections: MD Kashmir Power

 
 
 
SRINAGAR, Oct 22: Managing Director KPDCL Mr. Mohammad Aijaz Convened a meeting in the conference hall of Corporate Office and reviewed the progress of works for winter preparedness, revenue realization, advanced dumping of material ,branch cutting, status of 100 pilot feeders for reduction of AT&C losses.
 
At the outset Chief Engineer (D) Mr Ajaz Ahmed Dar apprised the Managing Director about progress of various deliverables for winter Preparedness. He informed the meeting that advanced dumping of material at various Divisional headquarters is in progress and shall be finished in a week's time. 
He also apprised the chair that cumulative progress of Branch Cutting has been achieved to the extent of 95%. Secretary Technical JKPDD ER. Bashir Ahmad Dar circulated the format for providing monthly data on reduction of AT&C Losses for 100 Pilot feeders in Kashmir Division. Superintending Engineers informed that tendering work for upgradation of workshops, LT Switches and installation of meters for IPDS towns has been initiated.
 
Further the Executive Engineers were asked to improve revenue realization, carryout Inspections and gearing up repairment of transformers in buffer stock for  replacement during winter. 
 
Managing Director also pointed out that a performance matrix has been devised and various parameters including deft handling of power related winter problems, Reduction of AT & C losses, Revenue realisation shall be factored in while writing APRs of officers.
