BHOPAL: A Director General (DG) rank Indian Police Service (IPS) officer was attached on Monday after a video showing him assaulting his wife went viral on social media on Sunday night.
In the video, the 1986 batch IPS officer Purshottam Sharma was seen pulling his wife by her hair and also beating her up.
