GDC Mahanpur, Kathua organizes National Webinar on Zoom & YouTube Platform


 

KATHUA, July 15: Government Degree College, Mahanpur, Kathua organised and conducted a national webinar on “Designing an effective E-Content Development Tools & Techniques: Challenges & New Horizons” on Zoom & YouTube Platform on 13th of July 2020 in collaboration with  Library  & IQAC Cell under the dynamic patronship of Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul, Principal, GDC, Mahanpur.

There were 1710 participants including teaching faculty, librarians and students participated in this webinar from nearly 20 different states and Union territories across the India. At the outset of webinar, Prof. Sangeeta Gupta (HOD, Deptt. Of Library Science , University of Jammu conveyed a special message for the webinar.

Dr. Dattatraya Kalbande , Librarian, Sadhubella Girls College, Mumbai and Sh. Ramakant Navghare ,Librarian ,CKT College, New Panvel, Maharashtra were the resource persons of the webinar. Dr. Kalbande gave detailed presentation on E-Content & its forms, process of developing e-content,  Quality parameters for E-Content Development, Initiatives taken by MHRD for e-learning and open educational resources.

Sh. Ramakant Navghare session was based more on practical aspects of ICT & E-learning tools. He focused more on Google Forms, Auto-Certificate, Flyer Marker, Cinema FV5, KINEMASTER, LMS, Kahoot, Testmoz, Moodle, Google Classroom, OBS Apps and their application in teaching learning Activites.  The whole event was conducted in three Session- theoretical, practical & question-answers session.

The whole event was planned, conducted and moderated by Prof. Balbir Kumar, (Convenor IQAC & Moderator), Sh. Saurabh Dutta, Librarian (Organising Secretary & IQAC Member) Prof. Arvind Kumar(IQAC Member), Prof. Munisha Devi(IQAC Member),, and Dr. J.S. Soodan , Physical Director (IQAC Member) each member of  IQAC committee of the college. Mangesh Ghodke , Librarian NG Acharya & DK Marathe College,Chembur, Mumbai was special technical officer of the Event.
