Srinagar, July 06: The departmental promotion committee consisting of Maqsoodul Zaman SSP, CO IR 8th Bn, Yougal Manhas SSP, CO IR 6thBn, Sanjay Singh Rana SSP, CO JKAP 12th Bn, Mohammad Shafi Rather, CPO APHQ, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, DySP (Personnel) APHQ, Syed Sajad Hussain, DySP (S) Private Secretary to ADGP Armed J&K and other staff members of APHQ J&K met under the chairmanship of ADGP Armed J&K AK Choudhary at APHQ J&K Srinagar and cleared promotions of 501 Constables to the rank of Selection Grade Constable.
The ADGP Armed congratulated the newly promoted officials and extended his warm greetings to them and their families.
He exhorted upon the promoted officials to work with dedication, devotion and highly professional manner in order to be the role models for their junior colleagues in the force. Further promotions in different Ranks are also in the offing, he added.
