SRINAGAR, June 29: Opposition MLAs on Wednesday chanted anti Speaker slogans and staged walk out from Lower House.
MLA Er Rasheed asked Speaker “Why my bill over Beef ban was rejected . Don’t see everything with communal eye. Let us discuss and debate. You have chosen an undemocratic way. When your minister can talk on favour of Liquor , why can’t we discuss beef ban?”
Congress leader Nawang Rigzin Jora joined Rashid and asked “Why have you rejected the bill] and on what baisi?”
When Speaker did not answer and said that the matter is subjudice, Er Rasheed and Congress MLAS walked in to the well and raised anti-speaker slogans “Jamooriyat ka gala ghotnay wala kon hai, Speaker hai Speaker hai, Shame Speaker Shame Speaker” and staged walkout.
