Jammu, Feb 13: Health Department Jammu and Kashmir  has issued a order for initiation of strict action against Doctors, who are charging  exorbitant fee & other matters related to but why not staright away ban Private Practices by Doctors as now Private Nursing Homes have been asked to check such acts.

Pertinent to mention here that some private retired doctors are even charging Rs.600 as consutation fee, Cross Town News has time and again published the issues.

It is also a matter of concern that till Govt will not publish fixed consultation fee rates for doctors of different catagories, they can charge of their choice & nobody botheres to act,  it is need of the day to fix & publish such fee rate for public notice.

Experts while speaking to Cross Town News said, why would Private Nursing home ask Patients or is it appropriate to ask patient on Death bed for that matter, that whether Doctor at Hospital did malpractice and asked you to visit Private Nursing Home.

It is need of the Hour to simply ban Private practice of Doctors or let it go, these half hearted measure won't get any substantial impact.

Also It is also to publish that, whether, competant authority have bothered to verify the renewal of lisensce of  Nursing Homes as per the requirements of the Act to see the factual status on ground, which is a urgent need of the day to have a check over illagalitys committed by them along with Government Doctor doing Private practise, if any....?

However, order copy with CTN reads as under:-
