Aurangabad, Jan 23: Cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin and two others were booked for allegedly cheating the city base Danish Tours and Travels Agency for Rs 20.96 lakh.
According to the police, Mujib Khan personal secretary of Mohammed Azharuddin of Aurangabad had approached one Danish Tours and Travels Agency and booked airlines tickets destination of Mumbai-Dubai-Paris and Mumbai-Paris-Dubai for Sudesh Awvekal and Mohammed Azharuddin in November,2019.
The complaint states that the cheque issued against the fare by Mujeeb Khan was dishonoured in bank. When it was asked for payments he avoided it avoided repeatedly.
Basis on the complaint police have registered an FIR against all three persons.
Further investigation was underway.
