All the beds of Surgery/ Medicine wards of Sarwal Hospital Jammu without patients?

Jammu, Jan 14: Sunil Dimple President Jammu west assembly movement visited Sarwal Hospital & interacted with the patient and also with temporary in charge Medical Superintendent, Dr Rajeev Sharma ENT.

He said the Sarwal hospital have become the victim of the negligence of the Director health services and doctors.

Dimple appealed the Lieutenant Governor GC Murmu to send a medical fact finding team headed by the Health Commissioner to find the reasons that why the Sarwal Hospital have converted in to a dispensary.

Dimple said that there is heavy decline in admission of patients in the hospital. Surgery Ward and Medicine ward were without patients shows the performance of the hospital Sarwal.

He said patients of far flung areas Akhnoor, Rajouri, Sandarwani, Kot bhalwal. Ploura, Bantalb were seen roaming and complaining that they had been visiting in the Sarwal hospital regularly for many days and months for treatment and not getting any response and waiting for treatments and surgeries.

He said the minor bandages, surgery gloves for minor operation, quality medicines are not available in the hospital. He alleged the Govt is not paying any attention towards the up gradation of the Sarwal hospital, which has become only the photo shoot hospital, for the VIPs, ministers.

He said the blood at time of emergency is not available in the Sarwal hospital, due to which all the patients collapse and are not attended in the Sarwal hospital and are referred to GMC hospital.

Dimple said the Sarwal district hospital has become a “first aid referral dispensary”, no adequate supply of the life saving drugs in the sarwal hospital, shortage of doctors, surgeons, no blood bank, patients are not getting good response of treatment and all patients are being referred to other hospitals, GMC medical college and out of the stateraises a question mark on top boss of health department.
