DODA, JANUARY 09: District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode conducted an extensive tour of Bhaderwah town to inspect snow clearance works, besides reviewing other essential services.
DDC was accompanied by ADC Bhaderwah,Tehsildar Bhaderwah and other officials of district administration during the tour. DDC visited various inner routes of the town, like Teligarh road, hospital road, Sartingal road etc.
The DDC was apprised that snow has been cleared from all the inner routes of the town.
The DDC directed GREF Department to ensure snow clearance on all the roads especially those leading to important installations like hospitals etc. Regarding electricity and water supply, the DDC was informed that water supply line across the town has been fully restored and process of restoration of electricity shall be completed soon.
Reviewing the ration supply, traffic movement and other essential services, DDC passed strict instructions to the concerned officers to ensure prompt and hassle free services to the public so that they do not face any inconvenience during snowfall.
He said that a control room 24X7 has been established in the premises of DC office besides individuals can register their grievances by dialling toll free numbers i.e 9906320997 &18001807122. He also directed the concerned to give wide publicity to these numbers in their jurisdiction so that facilities installed shall be availed without any fail.
