Srinagar, Dec 27: Managing Director, KPDCL (Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited) today visited the site of the construction of VIP Guest House of Power Development Department at Sonwar and reviewed the progress on the spot.
Superintending Engineer Mr Hilal briefed the MD that construction project has an estimated cost of 243 Lacs and work has been expedited significantly in last two weeks after previous review by the Managing Director.
During the review MD set the deadline of March-2020 for completion of the balance work. He also ensured the executing agency that funds shall be arranged by placing a request to the higher authorities. However, work needs further expediting to meet the set timeline.
