Advisor Khan assures prompt redress of people’s problems: Shall he act on previous non compliance's?

JAMMU, DEC 02: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan today assured prompt redress of the genuine demands and grievances of people.

As many as 50 public deputations and individuals, hailing from different areas of Jammu and Kashmir, apprised the Advisor about their grievances and sought his intervention for early redress of the same.

On some projected issues, the Advisor issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned departments for time-bound solution of the same.

A deputation from Kundra area of Reasi district demanded construction of road in its area.

Similarly, another deputation of Jammu Central Cooperative Bank demanded the issuance of retirement benefits. A deputation of Citizens Cooperative Bank Officers’ Association sought Government’s intervention into making the organisation a profit making venture.

A group of sports professionals, engaged by Youth Services and Sports department, demanded continuation of their services under PM’s Package. Individuals hailing from different parts of J&K demanded clearance of their SRO-43/SRO-120 cases pending at different levels with different departments. A group of Accountant-cum-Data Entry Operators Union sought continuation of their services.

Several other deputations and individuals also met the Advisor and projected their issues and demands pertaining to School Education, Technical Education, Haj & Auqaf, Social Welfare, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Sports and Youth Services, PHE, PDD besides developmental issues.

Advisor Khan gave a patient hearing and assured the deputations and individuals that all their genuine demands and grievances would be looked into and addressed on priority.
