SAMBA, JUNE 02 - Department of Youth Services and Sports today organised an Interzone district level under-14 and under-17 girls athletic meet at Arazi Stadium Samba.
Deputy Commissioner Sheetal Nanda was the chief guest on the occasion.
About 57girls from five zones of Samba participated in the various events including discus throw, high jump, triple jump, javelin throw, long jump, shot-put and races, held in under -17 and under- 14 category.
DC Samba while presenting awards to the winners directed DYSSO Samba to explore possibilities for providing better training and facilities to the players.
DYSSO Samba Subash Chander Bhardwaj, ZEPOs Pardeep Singh, B.D Sharma, Raghuvir Singh and Rakesh Kumar were also present during the event.
