New Delhi, September 17: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has released a notification for the recruitment for several posts like Assistant Electrical Engineer, Programming Officer, Transport Officer, Material Management Officer, Geophysicist, Geologist, Chemist. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the given vacancies in a systematic format. ONGC offers one of the best compensation packages in CTC terms in the country with approx Rs 20.06 lacs at E1 level.
The selected candidates for the post will get the pay scale as per the Pay Matrix of 7th pay commission. The basic pay of the candidate will be Rs 60,000 to 1,80,000 respectively. Besides basic pay and annual increment of 3%, the employee is entitled to allowances of 35% of basic pay under cafeteria approach, dearness allowance, HRA/Company accommodation, contributory Provident fund, conveyance maintenance, leave encashment, PRP, medical facility, gratuity, post-retirement benefits and composite social security scheme etc as per company rule.

Age limit:
The age limit set for the unreserved category candidates is 30 years. For OBC and SC/ST category candidates is 33 and 35 years as on 31st July 2020.
Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020.
