UDHAMPUR, May 17: On Sunday night , near Majalta , a SPO was crushed to death by a truck. The policemen rushed the body to the hospital but he was declared brought dead.
As per reports , SPO Parshotam Singh was standing at the police check post near Bhatal Morh, when a truck bearing number PB35Q 1099 approached the post. When directed to stop, the truck driver ran over his speeding truck on the SPO and SPO died on the spot.
The driver of the truck was arrested by the police and the family members of the SPO have filed a complaint against the truck driver demanding strict action.
