Jammu, May 10: On the directions of Shri Vikas Sharma, KAS, Vice Chairman, JDA, today on 10-05-2019 anti-encroachment drives were carried out and retrieved more than 100 kanals land by the Khilafwarzi /Revenue Wing of Jammu Development Authority under the close supervision of Sh. Sanjay Gupta, KAS, Director Land Management, JDA assisted by Sh. Amit Verma, KAS, Tehsildar Zone-A, Ms. Shruti Bhardwaj, KAS, Tehsildar JDA Zone-B along with Khilafwarzi Officer/Inspectors and demolished the various RCC and pacca structures at Asrarabad Sidhra and other parts of Jammu City.
At Asrarabad, Sidhra more than 22 No. RCC plinths and 2 No. Pacca Structures on JDA land were demolished and more than 100 Kanals land were retrieved from the encroachers.
JDA got vacated the land by way of demolishing of concrete pillars & plinths and retrieved approx. 6 marla prime land from Sh. Hamid S/o Sh. Ramzan.
Illegal construction at khasra No. 375 revenue village Thanger Tehsil- Bahu alongside National Highway carried out by Sh. Amit Goyal S/o Sh. M.E. Goyal was stopped and matter referred to Jammu Municipal Corporation for further appropriate action.
JDA team stopped the concrete RCC work alongside the road at khasra No. 375, revenue village Thanger Tehsil Bahu carried out by the Army on JDA land and accordingly their senior officers were informed to seek the prior permission from the JDA before executing the work in future.
The encroachment drives were successfully carried out with full co-operation of Sh. Mohan Lal Sharma, SDPO Nagrota, Sh, Deepak Pathania, SHO Nagrota, Sh. Parvej, Chowki Officer Sidhra and Sh Sunil Sharma, In charge Bagh-e-Bahu, Police Post along with lady battalion of CRPF.
