Dilbag Singh highlighted the importance of Civic Action Programmes started by the J&K Police


 

JAMMU, APRIL 28 – Security Wing of J&K Police under Civic Action Programme today organized two separate functions at Govt. College of Education Canal Road Jammu and University of Jammu.

 In these functions competitive examination books, Almirahs and Sports material was distributed.

Speaking on the occasion ADGP Security J&K, Dilbag Singh, highlighted the importance of Civic Action Programmes started by the J&K Police and its positive impact on building better relations with Civil Society. He also emphasized the importance of books in the life of students and urged them to inculcate the habit of reading books for their better career plan.

Vice Chancellor, Jammu University Prof. R.D. Sharma and Principal Govt. College of Education Dr. Kaushal Smotra appreciated the role of Police in maintaining professional standards and also taking initiative in helping the Society through these Programmes. They further stated that these platforms are necessary for better coordination with Police and look forward for such interactions in future also.

Senior faculty Members of university Prof. Keshav Sharma, Register Jammu University Prof. Pankaj Shrivastava, Dean Students Welfare Sanjeev Mahajan, Controller of Examinations and other faculty members of University and Govt. College of Education, Canal Road Jammu, Jagjeet Kumar, IGP Security were present on the occasion.
