JAMMU, Apr 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday dedicated Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Prime Minister was accompanied by J&K Governor N N Vohra, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Union Minister of State in PMO Jitendra Singh, DY CM Nirmal Singh and Health Minister Bali Bhagat.
The 230-bed hospital has been set up by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board with an investment of about Rs 300 crore at Kakryal near Katra.The hospital has around twent five streams of medicine cardiology, cardio-thoracic surgery, neurology, neuro surgery etc.
The hospital supports two fully equipped Critical Care Ambulances and equipments like Linear Accelerator, Brachy Therapy, Gamma Camera, MRI, etc.
