Will Take Up Matter Regarding Revocation Of SRO-105 With The CM: Zahoor Mir


SRINAGAR, APARIL 15: Several deputations of stone quarry owners of Zewan, Pantha Chowk, Woyon and other adjacent areas today called on Minister of State for Forest, Animal & Sheep Husbandry, Cooperative and Fisheries Mir Zahoor Ahmad.

These deputations apprised the Minister of the problems being faced by them on work front and also pleaded for revocation of SRO -105.

The Minister gave them patient hearing and assured them appropriate action on their demands. He also assured them that he would take up the matter regarding revocation of SRO with the Chief Minister soon.

Interacting with these deputations, the Minister said that the government is framing and introducing such policies and programmes so as to mitigate and minimise the problems of the people.

Mir Zahoor assured the deputationists that concerned agencies have already been instructed to take appropriate measures for ecological balance of these areas.
