Udhampur, Oct 22: In order to gear up the work of Digitization and Scanning of record, the Regional Director Survey and Land Records, Udhampur / Reasi Sh. Rajesh Kumar Shavan, KAS, held meeting with the DILRMP Committee members.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Gurvinder Jeet Singh, KAS, Rajinder Kumar Sharma, KAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner Reasi. Sonu Pargal, KAS, Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Udhampur, Attar Chand, KAS, Sub Divisional Magistrate Basantgarh, Anil Kumar Sharma District Informatics Officer NIC Udhampur and others in his official chamber.
A thread bear discussion was held with regard to quality check of data generated by Service Provider under DILRMP. It was observed during the meeting that the quality check of revenue records is little slow due to non-availability of proper space for setting up of data centers. Regional Director directed for maintaining proper inspection register in the data centers and instructed the NIC officials to carry out the quality check in data centers from time to time. Progress regarding updation of Jamabandies, amendments/changes in J&K Land Revenue Act and rules made there under and J&K Registration Act also came up in discussion during the meeting.
The Regional Director laid stress for maintaining proper record of Shamlat, State, Kacharai Land and vested to the state under section 28-A of Agrarian Reforms Act 1976. So that the state property is secured from misappropriation. He directed for the proper inventory of all state / shamlat land village wise.
It was also decided in the meeting that each Tehsildars will convene at least weekly meeting at respective Tehsil Headquarters.
The Regional Director also enjoined upon the officers to conduct the inspection of record from time to time and work out the module for the training of officials in order to augment their skills.
