REASI, MARCH 19 - A financial literacy camp was organized by J&K Bank in collaboration with NABARD at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Reasi today.
The main focus of the financial literacy camp was to make people aware about schemes being associated with banking system.
The cluster head, JK Bank Vibhakar Khajuria apprised the participants about financial planning and budgeting, basics of savings, basics of credit, insurance, money transfer, etc. He laid emphasis on self-help groups and the importance of saving bank account.
Credit Officer, J&K Bank Suresh Verma, apprised about the various social security schemes viz. Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana, Prime Minister Suraksha Beema Yojana, Prime Minister Jeevan Jyoti Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, etc.
Chief Education Officer Reasi, Principal, Staff members and students of the school were also present on the occasion.
