JAMMU, Aug 12:As the pace of developmental activities in Jammu and Kashmir is getting accelerated and an era of prosperity and progress has begun, our neighbor Pakistan is frustrated and hence making repeated attempts of infiltration and cross border firing. This was stated by BJP State Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi, while addressing media persons alongwith State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan at party headquarters on Wednesday.
“Our state has a strong and stable coalition government of PDP and BJP and it is working on fulfilling its promises of good governance, development and ending corruption”, Sethi said and added that whatever has been done by this coalition during the last 5 months is a clear indicator of the fact that while on one hand not even a single case of corruption has been witnessed, on the other hand a number of developmental projects have been taken into hand and similarly work culture in the government departments has been improved from worst to best.
Sunil Sethi said that Pakistan, on observing the state going on the path of development with people friendly government in the chair, is frustrated as it is now feeling that the local support of the people will be difficult for it to continue terrorist activities as people are realizing that for progress, peace and prosperity it is must to defeat the anti-national and separatist forces. He said that there is a clear change in the mindset of the people across the state and it is not being digested by Pakistan, which has always been creating problems and hurdles in bringing peace and development in this border state.
Sethi further said that the rise in infiltration and terrorist activities cannot demoralize our security forces, as it has been observed for the first time in the history of Independent India that an open hand has been given to security forces to tackle the situation and retaliate in the strongest possible manner. Such retaliations too has frustrated Pakistan, which is in turn making futile attempts to provide oxygen to the dying anti-national elements, which are on ventilator after their failure to get any response from the local people. We will not let them to succeed now in their nefarious designs as the strong governments in the state and at the centre are committed for good governance, development and ending corruption besides defeating the anti-national forces and their designs.
Making a fervent appeal to the people to get united in cooperating for development and defeating the Pakistan designs, Sunil Sethi asked them to keep vigil around their surroundings and immediately inform the police or the security forces about the movement of suspected elements, so that peace and tranquility is maintained and the state marches to scale new heights of development.
