JAMMU, Feb 25: The State Government today constituted Jammu and Kashmir State Social Security Board to perform the functions assigned to it under Section-6 of the Unorganized Workers’ Social Security Act-2008.
As per the notification issued by the Government, concerned minister will be the ex-officio chairman of the Board.
The Members of the Board include Mr Altaf Ahmad Wani (Kaloo), Member Legislative Assembly and Mr. Rajiv Jasrotia, Member Legislative Assembly while Administrative Secretary, Labour and Employment Department will be the ex-officio Member Secretary.
The Members representing the State Government in the Board include representative of Finance Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary, representative of Planning and Development Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary, representative of Industries and Commerce Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary, representative of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary, representative of Social Welfare Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary, representative of Revenue Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary and the representative of Agriculture Production Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary.
