JAMMU, Feb 20: J&K Water Sports Kayaking and Canoeing team brought laurels to state by their unprecedented performance in National Canoe Polo and Dragon Boat Championship.
The contingent of 32 players including boys and girls participated in the Open All India National Canoe Polo and Dragon Boat Championship held at Udaipur Rajasthan, recently.The team bagged three gold, one silver and two bronze medals in the Competition.
While speaking to Cross Town News , Bilquis Mir said that the players have brought laurels to the State by not only excelling in the competition but defeating some of the formidable National teams.
15 teams participate in the event including MP, Delhi , Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat , Rajasthan, Bihar, ITBP, Indian Navy, Kerala etc
