Jammu, Jan 13: Many engineers working in in state are running here & there for promotions, who have completed their civil engineering degree from the Institution of Civil Engineers India, Ludhiana, Punjab.
State Govt, Departments have to implement only the orders which are passed by the central Govt. i.e MHRD Govt. of India. As the Civil engineering degree from the institution of civil engineers, India Ludhiana , Punjab is duly recognized by the MHRD. Govt. of India have further granted extension to the recognition of all such institutes including ICE Ludhiana till 31-05-2013. The association of Indian universities has clarified of the matter. AICTE has also approved the above said course.
Some who have qualified from AMICE told Cross Town News that RDD, & some other departments had approved the degrees from AMICE & acordingly promoted the concerned but different law is adopted by PHE, Minister is a matter of concern & is violation of Art 14&16 of constitutionof India.
One degree holder informed that even High Court had ordered for its recogntion but the big bosses are still sitting on the file, otherwise also how two laws can be adopted for one cause of action is a matter of concern & a high level enquiry.
