Jammu,Jan 10: The Director General of Police, Dr. S.P Vaid sanctioned scholarship of over rupees two lakh in favour of 76 children of deceased police personnel.
The scholarship has been sanctioned out of Central Police Welfare fund for the academic year 2016-17 to wards of the police personnel, who died while in service due to natural/accidental deaths. Rs. 228000 has been sanctioned Rs. 3000 each to 76 children of deceased police personnel.
