This is an application seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Professor (Medicine).
When the matter was taken up today, learned Sr. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is eligible for consideration for promotion to the post
of Incharge Assistant Professor (Medicine) and the application may be disposed of and case of the petitioner be considered for promotion as Incharge Assistant Professor (Medicine). On the other hand, learned Dy. AG submitted that suitable action in this regard shall be taken.
In view of the submissions made and in the facts of the case, this application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to convene a meeting of the Review Departmental Promotion Committee and consider the case of the petitioner for the post of Incharge Assistant Professor (Medicine).
