JAMMU, Nov 04: : Rafiq-Ul-Hassan, DIG Jammu Samba Kathua Range on Friday reviewed security arrangements made for the celebration of Jhiri Mela commencing from November 4.
Varinder Singh, SDPO Domana and Inspector Naresh Sharma, SHO Kanachak apprised the DIG Jammu about the security measures taken by the police for smooth/incident free passing of Jhiri Mela.
DIG Rafiq made a round of the area of Jhiri Mela especially the venue of Baba Jitto Temple wherein near about eight to ten lakh devotees from different parts of the country visit and pay obeisance during the Mela days.
