New Delhi, November 05: The Supreme had Court ruled in a 118 page judgment that technical education can not be provided through the process of correspondence courses.
The top court while setting aside the orders passed by Odisha High Court restrained educational institutions from providing courses in subjects like engineering in the distance education mode.
It had also ordered that the degrees allowed after session 2001 to 2005 through corropondance from JRN Vidhyapeeth Rajestan & ors are recalled and cancelled.
It stands also ordered that the AICTE shall devise the modalities to conduct an apperopriate test as indicated in para.47. above.The option be given to the concerned students whose degree suspended by 15.01.2018 to appear at tests to be conducted in accordance with directions in para 47. The candidates be not not given more than two chances to clear, if failed their degrees shall stand cancelled.
Why not Minister/Commissioners, who had approved such qualifications for promotions be taken to task by Vigilanve/Crime otherwise which clearly speaks of their vested considerations........................?
