J&K Govt Suspended Syed Shahid Yousuf

Srinagar, November 02: The Jammu and Kashmir government today suspended Syed Shahid Yousuf from the government job, 10 days after he was arrested by the NIA in a terror-funding case.


Yousuf, 42, son of Hoxbul chief, was posted as agricultural assistant in central Kashmir's Budgam district. He was arrested by the National Investigation Agency on October 24, 2017. 

 Every government servant is deemed to be suspended within 48 hours of his or her arrest under the civil services conduct rules.
