Jammu, October 07: Dy. Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh hosted a reception in honour of World Wushu Medalists Bhanu Pratap Singh and Rajinder Singh who recently won bronze medals at World Championship, Kazan Russia.
The medalists and the Indian coach Kuldeep Handoo were also felicitated on the occasion.
Later while speaking to the Media Dy CM expressed great happiness on the stellar performance of the athletes and assured the players of all government support.
Its a proud Moment not only for J&K but for the whole country that these outstanding players have kept the tricolour flying in Russia, Dy CM said.
Dy CM also felicitated Sh Vijay Saraf, President Wushu Association of J&K who had also accompanied the Indian team to Russia as Lead Official.
Ranjeet kalra, VC Sports Council, Jammu was also present on the occasion. National Wrestler Balkar Singh,Sh Parminder Singh also graced the occasion
