“AIIMS for Jammu” chorus now has been in the air from last two odd months. Jammu has seen bandh from last five consecutive days. Strength and Unity of people of Jammu was on a showcase. People want AIIMS for Jammu dearly.

On 29th July Union Health Minister JP Nadda announced AIIMS like facilities for both Jammu and Srinagar. AIIMS Coordination Committee said that they want a full fledged AIIMS and they will not take off their strike if AIIMS is issued not issued  to Jammu vide an official notification under the AIIMS act of 2012 and not by a mere tweet.

General public of Jammu is already worried that if this strike turns out to be like the one in 2008 , things might get tough for common and small businessmen. But still many businessmen said “AIIMS for Jammu” is a pride and we will fight for it even if we have to cross 65 days strike period of 2008.

But there were many who are getting anxious on fact that their livelihood comes from their small business establishments and even two days of closure get things difficult for them and 65 days or so might give them a big blow.

“AIIMS for Jammu” is a pride and a fight for a right  and AIIMS Coordination Committee is not wrong at any point but are “We are going “too ahead” , we will come to know in coming days.
