Jammu, September 28: Jammu peoples will miss working of M.Raju, IAS as Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation after his transfer from corporation to Secretary to Govt. PHE,Irrigation & FC.
During his tenure as Commissioner JMC, Raju shaked up the system of the department by streamlining the system of the corporation. He put every thing online, like complaints of any kind & use to moniter it personally to sort out the issues within no time.
As per details available with Cross Town News, Raju crushed the illegal engineering system of allotment of works to blue eyed. By inviting tenders online the cost of work reduced to 30 to 40% saving govt. money. Quality of work was improved during his tenure with his personal inpections on spot.
Lot of people spoke to Cross Town News that the said Commissioner use to act immediatly on the requests forwarded to him.
The lot of officials of JMC also said that he use to sort out their official issues immedialy due to his quick disposal policy.
The painting competition to launched by JMC today , where youth are charged full with enthusiasm to participate , such steps have given more vertical aspects to JMC
Such officers are nodoubt an asset for the Govt, who use to get appericiation after their transfer.
