
JAMMU, Sep 27: Amateur Karate Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir (AKAJK) under the banner of Sports Council has started Karate classes at MA Stadium Jammu.
The classes were inaugurated by Sunil Sharma, Minister of State for Youth Services and Sports and President AKAJK.
Shiv Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary J and K State Sports Council , Rahil Gupta, Member Sports Council & Vice President AKAJK , Vishal Sharma, Joint Secretary and other members of AKAJK were also present.
More than 100 karatekas participated in the class.
The classes will continue under the banner of J and K State Sports Council and under the supervision of Ambedkar Gupta, WKF Qualified Coach and General Secretary AKAJK, who also gave detailed reports on events to carried out in coming days.
Sunil Sharma while speaking othe ocassion said he will offer all support for taking Karate to every nook and corner of J&K and focus will on holding more camps for girls.
Shiv Sharma said that youth should focus on playing recognized games and with recognized Association , so taht they move in right direction.
Rahil Gupta while interacting with youth said that Sports Council under Secretary Sports Council Waheed Para and under patronage of Minsiter for Sports , Imarn Ansari has moved in right node and sports activities have increased all across the state .
