Malaysia, September 14: Sources said that at least 24 persons, including students and teachers, were killed in a fire at a religious school in the Malaysian capital.
It added that 21 of the deceased were students while three others were teachers, Xinhua news agency reported.
Fire engines were at the site within minutes, and the blaze was put out within an hour. A number of students were also taken to the hospital, some suffering from smoke inhalation.
The caused of the blaze is not yet clear. Further reports awaited.
