Nagpur, Oct 30: Retired 1993-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, Ramesh S. Thete, has been arrested in Nagpur in connection with a fraud and cheque-bounce case.
The court of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Kalpana Kotwal in Bhopal had declared Thete an absconder on March 23 and issued a permanent arrest warrant against him after he repeatedly failed to appear for court hearings.
However, thereafter, Judicial Magistrate First Class Kalpana Kotwal allowed the bail application of Ramesh S Thete and ordered his release on a bond of ₹10,000
