Mumbai, Oct 30: Bollywood Actor, Ajay Devgn approached the High Court on Vimal pan masala controversy after a "Show Cause Notice" was served to him by FDA, Mumbai.
While speaking to Media, Commissioner, FDA, Tukaram Mundhey said that we are processing the matter to peruse it in High Court.
The dispute stems from regulatory notices issued by the Maharashtra FDA alleging that advertisements for ‘Vimal Elaichi’ amount to the surrogate promotion of ‘Vimal Pan Masala’, a chewable product banned within Maharashtra.
Similar notices were also served to co-brand ambassadors Shah Rukh Khan and Tiger Shroff.
