BANDIPORA, Oct 27: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib today chaired a meeting to review the progress of Rural Development Department (RDD) works under CAPEX at the VC Room Mini Secretariat, Bandipora.
The meeting reviewed block-wise progress of works, including execution, completion and expenditure. Expressing concern over slow progress, particularly in Hajin, the DDC directed officers to expedite execution.
While appreciating progress in Bandipora, she stressed the early completion of remaining works across all blocks. The DDC emphasised that works, particularly in Gurez, must be identified on the basis of genuine public needs.
She directed the Assistant Commissioner Panchayat to coordinate with concerned Range Officers to resolve forest-related issues.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Bandipora, Nazir Ahmad Mir; Chief Planning Officer Bandipora, Assistant Commissioner Development Bandipora, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Bandipora and other concerned officers.
