JAMMU, Sept 22: The Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has authorized the release of an additional 25% of funds for all administrative departments under the Revenue Budget for the financial year 2026-27.
The Order copy with Cross Town News reads “In continuation to above referred Government Order and subsequent authorization of funds, Finance Department conveys authorization to the release of further 25% funds through BEAMS aggregating upto date releases to the extent of 75% of approved BE 2026-27 under all the remaining 'Detailed Heads' of other administrative expenditure, in favour of all the departments.
The authorization/release of funds under the Detailed Heads specifically excluded in Government Order No.149-F of 2026 dated 01.04.2026 shall continue to be considered on a case-to-case basis.
However, utilization of the funds by the departments shall be subject to the detailed terms and conditions as stipulated vide Government Order No.149-F of 2026 dated: 01.04.2026 and strict adherence to the austerity/economy measures imposed vide Government Order No. 198-F of 2026 dated 22.05.2026.”
