Jammu, Sep 02:Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, Shri Tejinder Singh, along with DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, SSP Jammu and SP North Jammu, conducted a foot patrol in the City North area today.
The senior officers personally reviewed the security arrangements and took stock of the prevailing law and order situation in the area. During the patrol, they interacted with local residents and shopkeepers and assessed public safety concerns. The foot patrol was aimed at strengthening police visibility, enhancing public confidence and ensuring effective policing at the grassroots level.
The senior officers directed the concerned police personnel to maintain heightened vigilance, ensure regular patrolling and remain responsive to the security and safety needs of the public.
They also stressed on maintaining close coordination among field units for prompt response to any emerging situation.
