SRINAGAR, Aug 25: Police attached a two-storey residential house belonging to Noor Mohd Dar in Hapatnar, Charar-i-Shareif, Budgam district, under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The action was taken under Section 68-F(1) of the NDPS Act, a police spokesperson said. Dar is the son of Mohammad Ismail Dar.
The property attachment is linked to a case registered under Sections 8/15 of the NDPS Act at Charar-i-Shareif Police Station.
According to police, the case concerns offences related to the illegal possession, transportation and trafficking of narcotic substances.
