Pune, Aug 19: The Food and Drug Administration has suspended the license of 'Chul Mutton', a restaurant in Lohgaon, after finding serious hygiene and food safety lapses during an inspection.
The eatery has been told not to resume operations until it fixes the issues flagged by inspectors.
Three cases were registered and seven people were arrested as part of the drive, while two more establishments were sealed and a vehicle worth Rs 7 lakh used to transport banned goods was also seized.
The FDA has made it clear that any violation of food safety and hygiene rules will not be tolerated, sending a strong signal to other food businesses in the city.
