RAIPUR, Aug 12:A 2022-batch trainee IPS officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre and two police personnel have been named in a complaint alleging that Rs 1 crore was sought and received to settle a cyber fraud case.
The matter has gone to a special CBI court in Delhi, which has sought an Action Taken Report (ATR) from the Chhattisgarh Director General of Police and the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation.
Trainee IPS officer Rahul Bansal, along with Assistant Sub-Inspector Praveen Kumar Rathore and constable Anshul Sharma, have been named as accused in the complaint.
