Hyderabad, July 19: A trainee IPS officer has been booked by the Attapur police following a complaint by a fellow woman trainee officer alleging sexual harassment, assault and criminal intimidation at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) in Shivarampally.
According to the complaint, the alleged harassment began in late June and continued for several weeks.
The woman alleged that fellow Trainee Officer sent her sexually abusive messages and made derogatory remarks about her in front of fellow trainees.
She also added that the accused spread false and derogatory information about her to damage her reputation.
Based on the complaint, the Attapur police registered a case and launched an investigation.
