Rohania Police books 10 people, including BJP District Vice-President on Court orders over fraudulent transfer of a retired Teacher’s property

Varanasi, July 14: Rohania Police have registered an FIR against 10 people, including BJP District Vice-President on the orders of the Chief Judicial Magistrate court over the alleged fraudulent transfer of a retired teacher’s property worth around Rs 50 crore.

The case has been registered on charges of cheating, following allegations that the accused took advantage of the victim’s serious illness to obtain the land through forged transactions.

It said the complainant, Pramila Mishra, alleged that her family’s land had been grabbed. Police are collecting documentary and electronic evidence, and further legal action will be decided based on the findings.
