JAMMU, June 29: A woman constable of the Border Security Force (BSF) was found dead under suspicious circumstances inside the Force's Frontier Headquarters at Paloura.
Officials said deceased, identified as Bishnu Priya Roy, was found hanging in her allotted accommodation at the Command Hospital located within the BSF Frontier Headquarters.
She had been attending a three-month Lab Assistant Course, which commenced on May 25, it said.
After the incident came to light, her body was taken to a hospital for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
Meanwhile, police have initiated inquest proceedings to ascertain the exact reasons behind the woman's death.
